Dream On

There is something about incredible about the power of believing in a dream.  This evening we got the chance to watch a documentary called Dream On.  It examines people who live in cities all around this country to see if they have achieved the American Dream.  What struck me in the movie is that everyone has a different perspective on what is their American Dream.  But all shared the same hope to have their dreams come true.

Hope is necessary for dreams to survive.  Hope is what keeps me excited for the future.  Watching the movie and being at the conference is creating hope for me personally, professionally and politically.  Hope is a sweet emotion and created such a sweet night.
