Letting Go Creates Space for More

Running a small business is an amazing feat.  I have been doing it for 15 years.  For most of that I time I have been doing it alone with no help or support. I’m here to tell you that it is not working doing it alone.  I have been exhausted and overwhelmed for most of my business life.  I have not been able to grow my practice because I am the self-limiting component.   I am the doctor, lecturer, administrator, social media guru, writer, bookkeeper, chef, driver, chief creator, just to name a few of the hats that I wear!

Intellectually, I know that this model is a disaster.  Still, I run this by myself because I don't feel like I have the cash flow to pay for help.  I’m afraid to hire someone and not be able to pay them for their services.  It has happened before and it is an extremely shameful experience to look your employee in the eyes and tell them you don’t have the money to pay them.

However, the time has come. I have to let go of the fear because it is exhausting me and holding me back.  I have to be brave and courageous and get some help.

Besides, my body and mind are pushing back saying you better get some help or we are going to quit on you!

Today’s sweet moment is to surrender and trust that I will get the help I need and that the money will come to me and to flow through me to them for their services.

Pushing past your fear is key to creating new success.  What fear are you pushing through?

To Your One Sweet Life,
